EIHL: il Nottingham in testa al campionato

Weekend intenso in EIHL con i team impegnati nel doppio impegno Campionato e Coppa. In testa alla EIHL il Nottingham con 12 punti; domenica 30 settembre ha sconfitto di misura, 3 a 2, il Guildford. Secondo posto per la coppia Fife e a Coventry a quota 7 ma con quattro partite in meno rispetto ai Panthers. I Flyers hanno sconfitto nettamente il Manchester 7 a 2. Il Cardiff ha strapazzato il Glasgow 8 a 1; a segno anche gli ex del campionato italiano Ulmer, Bentivoglio e Pope. Negli altri incontri da segnalare il successo del Milton Keynes all’overtime contro il Dundee grazie al goal partita di Valdix al 64.06. Solo due le partite In Challenge Cup nell’ultimo fine settimana: il Cardiff ha superato il Guildford mentre lo Sheffield ha sconfitto il Nottingham. La EIHL torna mercoledì 3 ottobre con le sfide tra Dundee e Cardiff e quella valevole per la Coppa Manchester-Nottingham. Sue successi per i Blaze in questo fine settimana, sabato contro il Glasgow e domenica contro lo Sheffield.
